Steve Kurtz is a partner in Levinson Arshonsky & Kurtz, LLP, located in Sherman Oaks, California.
Since 1987, when he first started practicing law, Steve has represented factors, asset based lenders, banks and other financial institutions on a daily basis and continues to focus his nationwide practice in this area. Particularly, he handles documentation issues relating to all aspects of the factoring and asset based lending industries, workouts, bankruptcy, and defaults and has litigated hundreds of cases in the state, federal and bankruptcy court systems, including some appellate work.
Steve also acts as outside general counsel to several factors, asset based lenders and banks. Additionally, he is the Co-General Counsel to the International Factoring Association and has conducted seminars, written papers, and given talks relating to his area of practice.
Never one to be idle, when not spending down time with his family, Steve maintains an active lifestyle and, in no particular order, enjoys mountain biking, road cycling, yoga, skiing and rock climbing.
