Tom has earned a strong reputation of professionalism and trustworthiness in the factoring industry, both as an senior executive of a factoring company and now as President of Roth Thomas Capital, a financial advisory firm making an positive impact on our industry. Tom Lindholm started his career as a commercial loan officer in Denver. After stints in Phoenix and Houston with Bank One as a Senior Vice President, Tom accepted a position with KBK Financial of Fort Worth, Texas. As Executive Vice President, Tom's duties included National Sales Manager and later responsibilities included managing the ABL Department. In a recent interview, Tom stated, “We founded Roth Thomas Capital, Ltd. in 2002 as a vision to provide professional consulting and financial advisory services to the growing factoring and asset based lending industry. We saw tremendous liquidity from not only commercial finance companies and banks, but also from the investment community such as hedge funds recognizing the factoring industry provided above market risk-adjusted returns.” Tom continued by saying, “We are active in factoring and asset based loan participations, are partners in Texas Procurement Capital, a web-based procurement company and also represent finance companies, banks and selected brokers in projects and transactions such as portfolio acquisitions and liquidations. One of our projects this year was to consult with the CEO of a large bank to start a new factoring division.” In summary, Tom stated, "From the commercial banks to KBK and now Roth Thomas, my entire career has been about working for the underdog and succeeding. These different positions have given me a unique perspective from the various credit cultures of which to better position my clients. I'm fighting for the guy who has laid it all on the line and has put himself at risk for the betterment of his business and family. Give me the guy that “has to succeed” and anything is possible. That's what makes America great." |
