Factoring Industry Auditors
FactorHelp has access to a Coast-to-Coast network of Auditors to assist with any need a Factoring Company can have. This national network is vital in keeping travel costs to a minimum, saving you and your Client money. There are several classes of Auditors depending on the particular circumstance:
Collateral Auditors - This is the type of audit Factors need most. These Auditors specialize in audits for Factors and Asset Based Lenders. They spend the greater percentage of their time focused on the collateral (although they will also perform all the typical checking and balancing of financial data). They thoroughly inspect the paperwork flow looking for dilutive issues. Some will even perform verifications as part of the process.
Forensic Auditors - These auditors are used mostly for post-fraud assistance. They are experts at finding the paper and money trails and obtaining documentation to prove "what happened". This service is critical to 'proving your case in court' when a fraud has occurred.
Financial Auditors - These auditors perform typical inspections that most banks would ask for when auditing a borrower. These Auditors spend the greater percentage of their time focused on the checking and balancing of the financial data. Assets are reviewed as part of the audit, but not as heavily focused as a Collateral Audit.
